By using plooma.ink ("Plooma", "we", "our", or "us"), you're agreeing to be bound by the following Terms of Service. If you don't agree to these Terms, don't use Plooma.

We're constantly iterating on our service, so these Terms may change over time. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know via email or within the app.

Account Terms

• You must be a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted.
• You must provide a valid email address and other information requested in order to complete the signup process.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Plooma cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this obligation.
• You're responsible for all content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Plooma.

Use Restrictions

You agree not to use Plooma for any purpose that's unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. You must not:

• Abuse, harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Use the platform to publish or distribute spam, scams, or malware.
• Upload or transmit material that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.

Payment, Refunds, and Plan Changes

• If you subscribe to a paid plan, you'll be billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).
• Refunds are generally not provided, though we may consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
• If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, the new rate will take effect immediately or at the start of your next billing cycle.
• Downgrading may cause loss of content or features. Plooma does not accept liability for such loss.

Cancellation and Termination

• You're solely responsible for properly canceling your account. An email or in-app message is not considered cancellation.
• You can cancel your account at any time by going to your account settings.
• If you cancel, your content may be deleted from our servers after 30 days.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms at our sole discretion.

Modifications to the Service and Prices

• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time with or without notice.
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

Uptime, Security, and Privacy

• We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime and take security seriously, including encryption and backups.
• Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data.

Copyright and Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of all content you post to Plooma.
• We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the material you provide.
• By posting content, you grant us a license to display, reproduce, and distribute it within the service.

Features and Beta Access

• We may offer new features as betas. These may be experimental and may change or be discontinued without notice.
• Use of beta features is at your own risk.

AI-Powered Features

Analysis

Some features of Plooma may involve the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze user-submitted text or chapters. By using these features, you grant us permission to process your content through AI systems for the sole purpose of providing the requested functionality (e.g., analysis, summaries, suggestions).

All data processed through these AI features remains confidential and is not used to train AI models. These services are included as part of paid subscriptions and respect user privacy.

Fair Use & Abuse Prevention

To ensure reliable service and fair access for all users, Plooma enforces limits on excessive or automated use of AI-powered features, such as chapter analysis or image generation. You agree not to misuse the platform by:

• Submitting automated or bulk requests to AI features.
• Attempting to bypass usage limits or paid access.
• Exploiting AI tools in a manner that disrupts normal operations or degrades performance for others.

We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or terminate access to services for users who violate these fair use expectations.

Liability Limitation

• You expressly understand and agree that Plooma shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
